Daddy Booregard



Daddy Booregard is the man of the house, dead though he may be. ;-) Daddy always reminded me of the ghosts in the movie "A Christmas Carol", with his chains and clockpiece hung from his neck. The clock looks like it reads 9:45. We assume it's PM, not AM. ;-) Something that hits me as odd about Daddy Booregard is that he's show on the card back paired up with Grandma Macreak. But if that's so, shouldn't he be Grandpa Booregard? He does kinda give the appearance of being an uncle or grandfather more than a father. Or maybe it's just me. Hmmm...ghost family mysteries, huh? ;-)



This close-up shows a common problem with carded Daddy Booregard figures. His nose tends to touch the plastic window, making a melt mark. But you just have to love that clock!
