Not much lately. With all the chaos going on and prepping for shit hitting the fan and trying to build the business and TRYING to enjoy the holidays, it's been impossible. Not much of anything getting done this past month or two.

It's very depressing because I LIVE FOR the Halloween/Thanksgiving/Xmas season. Come late Sept. I"m like a kid in grade school the week before summer vacation. Just can't wait. But this year has been so stressful it's ruining it all. All the more reason to line traitors up against the wall for causing all this stress.

Speaking of the Holidays and threads.... they're all over the place. I'd ask to see if NAMED titles could be combined (for site history sake) from oldest to newest. One for the various Holidays put up.
HALLOWEEN
THANKSGIVING
CHRISTMAS (HAPPY HOLIDAYS)
NEW YEARS EVE (Day)
EASTER
4th of JULY (INDEPENDENCE DAY)
St. PATRICK'S DAY

There might be a few others but they are scattered. Maybe my OCD with archives in order is a thing at times. I was going to post you a Christmas music list to maybe relax you a bit. I don't know how difficult it is to combine or name threads. Some forums have such threads that go back many years. Its just a preoccupy type idea.

Cheers

Not sure what you mean by combining titles.

I have several CDs full of every favorite Xmas carol ever recorded. God there are lots of them!

I should have been more specific and said Forum Threads. There must be 1/2 dozen Christmas threads, a few Halloween, etc. And some are spread in different forum sections. I'd assume they should be in the general section. I just figured a dominant thread for each Holiday would be easier to find and add posts to as various holidays approach.

Sometimes I wonder what to post where.

Its pretty self explanatory but I think some threads dipped into oop or announcements and should be moved. Maybe I should link the ones I think are misplaced. Some holiday threads should be left alone like Doriche's holiday lights one. We have others that are just happy holidays for each year. Those should be put in one thread IMHO. And such threads should be retitled in bold. Maybe its me being ocd/autistic (seems that's a phrase used a lot these days that has nothing to do with actual autism).

It also shrinks down the individual threads. Just my thoughts.

I was thinking maybe making a generic Holiday forum with Xmas and Thanksgiving sub-topics or sub-forums? Is that the idea?

Here's some info you can share over there (feel free to reword it - I know you can't say "fake" pandemic at DF  )...

The chaos over the (fake) pandemic and a major computer crash (Windows) has thrown a monkey wrench into everything. So work slowed to a crawl at best. The current status is this...

* Level 7 is 100% complete
* Level 8 is almost complete - there are only 10 core rooms still needing detailing
* The secret (and large!) sub-level that branches off Level 8 is 100% complete
* All the new monsters, new spells and new magic items (36 of each) are 100% complete.
* All introductory and explanatory material and all areas of interest (for all 3 levels) is 100% complete.
* The maps for Level 7 and the sub-level are finalized and the map for Level 8 is undergoing its final revisions
* Virtually all the NPC write ups are done (I think there are two left to detail)

So overall, what's left to do? Well, I gotta wrap up those last 10 core rooms for Level 8 - most of which are planned and plotted, needing only the final polishing of the text. We have Govi wrapping up the changes to the map for Level 8. After that, all that's left is to finalize the write-ups for the 3 mini-adventures (all planned, just needs to be typed up in proper form) and then it's time to convert it to PDF and viola! Ruins of Undermountain III: The Deadly Levels is complete!

I'm hoping to wrap up all the writing and have the Level 8 map done by the end of summer. After that it's just a final proof read and conversion into PDF format and it's done!

I'd like to say something but McDeath is officially banned. -----name scrubbed----- my gen Z alt (18-19yo) is an idiot V-gamer who doesn't know shit about D&D other than CRPG and an ex DM who burned stuff on Tik-Tok. But I'm betting they know its me. Hard to create a new writing style and be persistant.

Ah, ok. Garhkal can post an update if he likes. It's not a big deal if no one does. I just figured I'd post the details in case any of you wanted to update them over there.
