Room preview for Level 7 coming!

Post by Halaster Blackcloak »

Well folks, you've tasted the art and the maps, now you're gonna get to taste the writing too! :D

Varl finished proofing the manuscript for Level 7, and we're deciding on which room to post in its entirety as a preview to give you all a taste of what Level 7 has in store for you.

We need to make sure we post a room that doesn't give away any secrets or surprises that we're developing, but we want to pick one that captures the overall feel of Level 7. So keep your eyes open for the preview in the next day or two.

Well...

It sorta got backlogged with work and getting that nasty flu that came back twice and turned into pneumonia. Gotta get caught up now.

What will we do if you die? :(

I'm not allowed to die before I finish this project. I sold my soul to ensure that.

I was told 765,9843,236,145 but that was a rough estimate.

Actually, I may have Doirche post a playtest review, since he had some play testers testing out some of Level 7. They died. Painfully. And humiliatingly.

But no, the play test went well.

I'm sure you'd be more interesting in hearing how their characters died, though, right?

Hell, I'm more interested in hearing about how the players died! Fear, shock, despair?

I can't wait to hear about it!

Oh, and I got some serious inspiration last week. I was at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and I went into the simulated Coal Mine. OMG, that was a flashback to childhood! And it felt like touring Undermountain! Hell, I may go back and bring a notebook to rite in, and just stay behind the tour group!
