Changes from the old site
I'm making a few behind-the-scenes changes from the old site. First is the avatar size. It didn't allow you to match it to the size of the rank icons, so it looked off center. So I upped it to a limit of 151 x 151 pixels (it used to be 140 x 14) and 25kb (used to be 20 kb).
I'll post any more changes as we go along.

I'm using the embarrassed face a lot lately, but this one really deserves it! I forgot to set up the public discussion areas for the various current projects! See what happens when I get caught up on tech crap?
But Katja is here now, and Unther is here, and so on and so forth. So we should be ok.
I obviously added the public discussion forums for the various projects, and created a new one for Halaster's Tome of Monsters.
Lendras is converting Halaster's Tome of Monsters to pdf format. Small setback there...he had a major computer crash! But he seems to be back up and running, to that's good news all around. I should be announcing something on this soon, including some new monsters to expand it.
Also, look for an announcement in the Caves of Sydwall public area.

Summer!
Yea,
We have all been busy. Hal is starting his new job/career and hasn't had much forum time. I'm sure it is the case for most of us...it is always easier to sit down and write when its raining/snowing.
I feel for you guys in Cali and Florida.
P.S. I don't have an avatar...how do I go about making one?

Mira (Every calendar's days are numbered)
Sorry more specific
I saw the upload avatar in my profile
I don't have an avatar and was curious if there is some software that most of you use or is it a specific site...I see tons of choices.

Sorry I've been out of touch. Dealing with another family death, and this one damn near took me along for the ride. I'm exhausted beyond words, and just now feeling up to posting. I actually only signed in to clean out some spam sign-ups. Bastards. I'd like to track then down and castrate them with a dull rusty spork.
For avatars I just scan something that I like, then re-size it in Photoshop.

Thanks Beowulf! Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I've been out of it.
Yeah, gotta make the BIP Project a fun thing that gets my mind off things. I don't see me having the Lemora adventure ready for July 4th, so I am prepared for the lynching I was promised.
But hell, it'll be better if I have it ready for Halloween anyway...much more fitting as far as genre goes.

Yikes! I just realized what a time crunch I have with the Lemora adventure for Halloween. Even without art (good luck finding or getting an artist to do art by then! ), it's gonna be tight. So much catching up going on, and I'm moving to a new apartment in October. Argh!
