New Off Topic Forum

Hey everyone!

So I had an idea. I'm going to set up an off-topic/politics sub-forum. I'm going to make it private so only members who want to participate can. Here's why...

Some people seem to have left as a result of the politics talk. Now me, I can get along with anyone regardless of their views. But some people just react too much to the "touchy" subjects like politics, race, religion, etc.

As we get closer to the release of the product, I prefer to keep the more divisive material off the main site, so it's not mixed in. That way, people who want to participate in that discussion can, and those that prefer to avoid it can do so more easily.

I'm hoping to get the site more active with on-topic material as well, and bring more people in, so this should help.

Also, I'll be moving the more off topic threads like DF Sensitivity to the Off Topic/Politics sub-forum, so that's where you'll be able to find them and reply. It's set so only registered members can view or post.
